Too busy Tasering
Dear Editor:It’s too bad that despite councilman DeVilbiss’ best efforts, Aspen’s finest have been unable to make any progress in the “tree-lopper” case. I’m sorry that Chief Ryerson doesn’t consider it worth any more of his department’s time. I can’t help but wonder what a police force that excelled in something other that Tasering the homeless and contributing to the demise of venerable businesses, might have turned up.I’m also sorry that the people of Aspen have to wonder just how many city officials are on the take.Michael CleverlyWoody Creek
