Tommy Cole, cherished son of longtime Aspen resident Ellen G. Cole, passed away July 25 at the age of 43. He is also survived by his sister, Carolyn, his brother, David, nieces Jane, Lauren and Elizabeth, and nephews Eric and Jonathan. Tommy was an avid skier and hiker, and he truly loved the Aspen life. He was the kind of person who could make an ordinary Tuesday seem like the greatest day of the year. Tommy’s happiest times were with friends and family, and although his laughter is silenced, his indomitable spirit will live on in our hearts.
Tommy will be remembered in a memorial service on the top of Aspen Mountain at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 20. The last gondola leaves at 10 a.m.
