Todd Bradley Hickman
Todd Bradley Hickman passed away May 23, 2010 in Mill Valley, Calif. of natural causes. Born in Solvary, Calif. Todd grew up in the Santa Ynez Valley, Calif. He moved with his family to Aspen at age 13 and attended Aspen Middle School and High School where he excelled in basketball, baseball and football.
He graduated from AHS and attended Cuesta Junior College in San Luis Obispo, Calif., then transferred to CU Bolder where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree. Todd worked in Aspen’s various restaurants and in the family business, Bagel Bites.
He loved skiing Aspen Mountain, and according to him he felt he owned it. He loved hiking, camping, and the many dogs in his life.
Todd loved much of his life through music, especially attending WSP shows throughout the U.S. His greatest gift was communicating with people and he made lifelong friends along the way.
He loved his family and told us that many times. He will be greatly missed by all those lives he touched.
Todd was proceeded in death by grandparents, Vee and Jim Stinson, Neva and Delman Hickman and Uncle Tommy Hickman.
Leaves parents Connie and Bud Hickman; sisters, Kelly Hickman Banc, Kristen Hickman Haag; brother-in-laws, Tome Banc, Matthew Haag; nieces and nephews.
Jordan, Cody and Tanner Banc, Emma, Henry and Ben Haag, all in Carbondale and Basalt; aunts, Donna Elm of Fountain Hills, Ariz,. Aunt Donna (Jerry) Hickman of Eagle Point, Ore.; great Aunt Ruth (Norris) of Overly, Texas and numerous cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on June 12, 2010 at the base of Aspen Highlands in front of ZG Grill from 2 p.m. to sunset. Please bring chairs and blankets.
Todd’s nephew Henry Haag has neurofibromatosis (NFI). Todd was planning a benefit for Henry.
