Winter Storm Maximus, the 13th storm of the season in the U.S., dumped significant amounts of snow across the country last week, stretching from California to Kansas to Connecticut. Colorado also reaped the benefits, with record accumulation throughout the high country in a relatively short time span. As powderhounds embraced the abundance of snow, charging down the slopes at each of the four ski areas, spirits have remained high from the best conditions in years. And better yet, the forecast calls for more precipitation over the next week. Check to catch the weather, mountain updates and the snow report. Then get out there and get after it.
