To protect and serve?

Dear Editor:I was dismayed to hear that a local community member of Carbondale, who volunteers his time for the town, was allegedly assaulted by a Carbondale cop during a routine traffic stop.My advice to anyone being stopped by a Carbondale cop is to lock your car doors and only open your window enough to pass your papers to them. We shouldn’t have to fear for our safety when dealing with the police.Sean AndersonCarbondale
