Titanic-sized trash floes

Dear Editor:

When asked at the store “Paper or plastic?” The answer could be “neither,” by bringing your own reusable bag.

Plastic bags and bottles are suffocating our oceans and landfills.

With the “bathtub effect,” currents are dragging trash to concentrated areas in the ocean creating iceberg-sized floes of garbage too heavy to move!
