Tipton’s impressive environmental stance

Dear Editor:I recently attended a debate in Grand Junction between Scott Tipton and John Salazar. I was so impressed with Mr. Tipton’s stance on the environment, I wanted to share. He understands that we want to firmly establish a common-sense conservation policy that is market-based and respectful of our private property, while protecting what makes Colorado special. He believes current environmental laws can be tackled on a bipartisan basis, which will benefit all of Colorado’s needs. He is also in favor of evaluating new approaches to mending, not ending, the Endangered Species Act while preserving the spirit of the law.Now I believe we need someone like Scott Tipton in Washington attending to our business.
