Times’ World Cup skiing coverage is lacking
Dear Editor:
I was in Aspen last week and have been following the paper since. It seems the high school girl (Mikaela Shiffrin) from Vail won a World Cup slalom in Are, Sweden, and The Aspen Times didn’t pick up the story.
Beneath the real estate prices and furs, there remains a strong alpine culture in Aspen that should be covered. Any American winning a World Cup event is a big deal. A high school kid doing it is almost unimaginable. You need to carry alpine racing news.

EcoFlight takes CRMS students into the clouds to learn about the Crystal River
