Tickled by Owsley

Dear Editor:Thank you for covering the commissioners’ race in Woody Creek. I am very tickled by what Michael Owsley said about the incumbent Shellie Roy, saying that she cannot turn down a developer. It needs to be pointed out that Michael is the candidate from the Woody Creek Caucus, and there is no employee housing that will ever get past him. Take a look at the record, Woody Creekers want to be left alone, they do not want anything to happen in their part of the valley. They are special. If you want Woody Creek to have a say or a veto on the future, vote for Michael Owsley. But if you believe, as I do, that a vote for Michael is putting the Woody Creek Caucus into the larger arena negatively, then vote for Shellie Roy. She listens, she studies and she is fair.Andy HansonAspen
