Thrift Shop thanks

(This letter was originally addressed to the Aspen Thrift Shop.)

Thank you once again for the incredibly generous donation.

Each year the need for direct services to seniors grows, and your contributions make it possible for us to provide quality services that we could not otherwise afford.

The need for volunteer services grows each year, too, and your grant allows us to reimburse expenses for driving seniors long distances for treatments, etc.

We have already set up the first series of nutrition education classes for seniors, starting in late January, with a talented and personable registered dietitian. We are kicking around the idea of expanding our class offerings in the computer corner, too.

It’s always a pleasure to meet with your board.

Senior Services director
