Thomas Mead Vermilyea of Basalt passed away June 12, 2011. He was 62.

He was born Oct. 4, 1948 in Superior, Wis.

Thomas is survived by his brother, Paul Avery Vermilyea of Basalt; sisters Julie (Bill) Remsen of San Diego, Calif. and Mary (Sam) Dimientieff of Fairbanks, Alaska; nieces Melinda (Rob) Meader, Caroline Vermilyea and Billy Remsen.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Dagny Vermilyea.

A memorial is to be announced at a later time, with a full obituary.
