This is to be expected
June 4, 2002
This pious dolt, Jonathan Rice, has once again surfaced to chide and reprimand the kahuna [31 June, Aspen Times]. He indulged in a somewhat lengthy diatribe which adressed what he has perceived as faults in my writing. It was quite a laundry list, but after all he is my personal critic and grammar coach and this is to be expected.
His brain capacity would appear to be somewhat smaller than “Todd Coghi’s” so it would be necessary to substitute the orifice of a teste fly as the vessel of measurement in this particular instance.
Keep trying, Jonathan, but your chances of besting me on the printed page are about the same as your sneaking the sun past a rooster.
