They’re paying your bills
In response to Mr. Johnson’s letter (March 6), yes it is unfortunate that Basalt is losing it’s small town appeal and character. However, development is inevitable as the population continues to grow. I personally know what Mr. Johnson does for a living, and I would ask him if some of his clients are developers. Maybe they are not the developers that have changed your beloved Basalt, but perhaps they are making their money to pay you by developing someone else’s beloved community.
Come on David, life’s too short to be so bitter. In addition, if we all die and that’s it, who really cares anyway?
