Then do something about it

Dear Editor:

Art Houghland has baited me into a response to his letter with his ranting on about Obama (“Some things can’t be tolerated,” Aug. 25, letters, The Aspen Times). This is the United States of America, and if you don’t want a mosque near “ground zero” go ahead, Art, and purchase the land.

The proposed community center that includes a mosque is two blocks from the site of the former World Trade Center and is private property. You know the rules of free enterprise, Art. Put your money where your mouth is and buy that property for all of us. P.S.: Barack is not a Muslim.
