Theater not to miss

I attended Thunder River Theatre Co.’s performance of “Greek Shards – Medea” at the Aspen District Theatre last weekend.

“Greek Shards – Medea,” the second in a series of Thunder River Theatre Company’s original adaptations of Greek myths, is a very powerful presentation of the stories of Jason and the Argonauts, the Golden Fleece and the vengeance of Medea. Lon Winston, TRTC’s artistic director, has created an evening of brilliant originality.

Two seasons ago, the first of the series, “Greek Shards – Antigone,” was met with rave reviews.

Don’t miss this opportunity to see great theater in our own Roaring Fork Valley – it ends Saturday.
