The Wendys have it

Aspen Times writer

Dear Editor:

What a great front-page story about retiring teacher Wendy Larson. She is one of the most requested teachers by parents and a wonderful, fun-loving, hard-working teacher at that.

What’s the irony? On the front of the continuing story, later in the paper, is the article “Teachers win big.” (Congratulations to those who did receive $10,000.) I noticed Wendy Larson’s name did not appear there!

By the way, Wendy MacPhail built a building on campus while she was teaching and her name was omitted also.

Personally, I say the Wendys have it, and you’ll love retirement. Just ask me.
