The music’s over

“The music’s over. Turn out the lights. Turn out the lights.”

– Jim Morrison

Dear Editor:

As of April 1, 2004, the St. Regis hotel will be closing, and major renovations will be taking place. Regretfully, Whiskey Rocks must make way for these changes and will also be closing on April 1.

The last five years have been an incredible experience for all of us here at Whiskey Rocks, and I want to personally thank our friends and customers who made the bar their own.

We especially want to thank our staff, who have been the most loyal, fun crew to work with, even when the snow was too good to come to work. It is because of you that we were so successful.

We are currently considering other opportunities here in Aspen and hope to see you on the slopes or at the next Whiskey Bar. Once again, thank you for making us part of your community.
