The kindness of Kenichi

Dear Editor:

I want to publicly thank the Kenichi restaurant’s crew and customers for holding a very successful fundraiser for Mountain Rescue Aspen.

Not only did they come to us with the idea, they worked hard to make it a success. Also, the Kenichi folks made significant contributions personally.

Our team has no tax base and no paid staff. So we are very grateful for this unsolicited boost to our coffers, especially in these financially tight times.

Again, thank you to the Kenichi crew and all the generous customers who made this a success – you are terrific!

Hugh Zuker

president, Mountain Rescue Aspen
