The heart of the community
Dear Editor:
In Tuesday’s paper there was a full-page ad for the 11th annual Aspen Skiing Co. employee recognition party.
It struck me what an amazing group of people it was, and what a deep effect this group of people has had on all of us, whether we realize it or not. They have built our chairlifts, taught us to ski, groomed our trails, tuned our skis, hauled us off the mountain in sleds, pulled our passes, taught our children, friends and foes to ski.
I feel lucky to have worked for the Aspen Skiing Co. I thank and hope those employees have received as much from us as we from them.
Lo Semple
Aspen
