The Christmas spirit

Dear Editor:I am proud to announce the voting results where I work regarding the decision to change our annual Christmas party to a potluck office party and send the savings to Pearlington via the RFV relief coordinator. A very large majority of our staff voted for the potluck party! My wife made the comment before the vote, “you are expecting people to give up something they really enjoy and look forward to each year.” Yes, exactly, I said, and that is what will make our Christmas party even better this year. I can only hope other businesses will decide to follow suit.Gary PaxCarbondale
