The choices are clear

Dear Editor:Not only has Bush lied us into an unnecessary war, with all its devastating loss of life and untold billions wasted. It now seems his incompetence has accomplished what Saddam couldn’t: putting dangerous weapons – 380 tons of high explosives gone missing from the ammo dump at al-Qaida – into the hands of terrorists or insurgents (to be used against our troops). His foolhardy invasion has also managed to create offshoots of al-Qaida in Iraq, with increasingly deadly consequences for the Iraqis. Our choices this Tuesday couldn’t be clearer: More of the same (bombs, bombs and more bombs) or a new set of eyes to assess this crisis.Ben NewellAspen
