The biggest business

In reference to Jerry McGeorge’s Feb. 4 letter “delusional thinking,” which challenged Sue Gray’s Jan. 28 letter of her visit to Iraq:

I have this to say – I am assuming only that Jerry McGeorge has never met any of the people he speaks of nor that he has visited the countries he mentioned. And that 100 percent of the information he has shared comes from another source rather than his own. That, in fact, if his source of information is mainstream media it of course must be biased.

Whereas assuming Sue Gray’s point of view is experiential, it is her personal perspective – and is, from my thinking, definitely sensitive of the human condition and ultimate wish we all have of peace and freedom for all.

We must take into account the fact that our country’s greatest business is and has been war – War is the (undisputed) biggest business in America, right or wrong, it is.

America is a great country made up of great people with the luxury of thinking beyond simple survival. Patriotic to the point of seeing the world as one place of human residence.
