Thanks, whoever you are

Dear Editor:

Much to my amazement, I awoke in the AVH Emergency Room on Sunday afternoon. I have no recollection of how I got there, except that I probably fell off my bike somewhere in the vicinity of Hopkins and Garmisch, where upon a good Samaritan found my crumpled and bleeding body and transported it to the hospital.

I have no idea who this kind soul was, and he did not identify himself to the ER staff. I probably neglected to thank him at the time, but would like to do so now. I hope he sees this letter. Thanks also to the ER staff for their wonderful care. And if anyone saw this event, I would be really curious to know what happened.
