Thanks to all 200 of you

The staff and board of directors of Sopris Therapy Services would like to take this opportunity to honor and thank the 200 volunteers in the Roaring Fork Valley who gave their time to help us with the National Disabled American Veterans Winter Sports Clinic.

Due to the generosity of these wonderful people, we were able to provide adaptive horseback riding sessions for disabled veterans in conjunction with the other activities offered in Snowmass Village and throughout the valley. Thank you, thank you; all 200 of you.

We would also like to thank the Rifle and Glenwood Springs Elks Clubs for keeping all 200 of us, plus the veterans and their helpers, well fed each day. And to John Sommers, Twirp Anderson, John Livingston and Kevin Glenn for delighting us with their wonderful songs.

A volunteer “week” is not enough to honor these fantastic people.
