Thanks, Rotarians, for a lovely day
October 1, 2010
I was one of a group of seniors last Saturday lucky enough to be hosted by 30 or so members of the Rotary Club on a Color Tour. The fall colors that day were probably the most brilliant of the season: Incredibly magnificent vistas of snow-covered peaks, pine covered slopes and shimmering golden aspens that took my breath away. Even the air seemed filled with gold dust.
These amazing views were matched by the kindness and generosity of the Rotarians who gave up their Saturdays in order to drive us in their own vehicles up Aspen Mountain and down the other side followed by a delicious lunch cooked by them in one of the Tenth Mountain Huts.
On behalf of all of us on the tour, a big thank you to all the wonderful Rotarians for a sparkling and perfect day.
