This past Saturday the weather cleared just in time for the 25-year anniversary celebration of Aspen Valley Hospital’s present location. Ginny Dyche planned and produced a wonderful community picnic that was filled with warmth and good feelings.
Everyone visited together, ate together, danced together and watched brave souls get down and dirty in the pie-eating contest. There was much story telling, reminiscing and greeting old friends, many from downvalley. It was wonderful.
The weather breaking as it did had to have been to honor the months of planning, hard work and dedication of Ginny Dyche, who puts together hospital events with the finesse of a movie director.
Thanks, Ginny! Do we have to wait another 25 years for such a fun event?

Aspen’s dirty downtown alleys are enough of a blight that the city government is taking the initiative to clean them up this week.
