Thanks from the Community Foundation
Dear Editor:
Aspen Community Foundation extends a heartfelt thank you to the immense generosity of those who engaged in our 2010 Winter Campaign. Hundreds of donors from near and far contributed over $600,000 to this past year’s campaign, including $140,000 for our Emergency Assistance Fund, contributions that were generated by a partnership with The Aspen Times.
Everyone associated with Aspen Community Foundation is also proud that the Foundation was recently recognized as the 2010 Nonprofit of the Year by the Aspen Chamber Resort Association. Aspen Community Foundation is honored to be in a position to help guide our communities from Parachute to Aspen into the future by serving as a community hub, by convening community members on issues of importance, and by funding projects that pave the way for better days ahead.
We thank the community for our success and we stand united on our mission to help those in need and to make a difference for communities in the greater Roaring Fork and Colorado River valleys. Thank you.
Tamara Tormohlen
Executive director, Aspen Community Foundation
