Thanks for successful picnic

The Basalt Regional Heritage Society (BRHS) would like to thank everyone who came to the picnic and made it a successful and fun event.

Thank you to Robbie Darcy and Dennis of the town of Basalt’s Public Works Department for their help transporting tents and chairs from St. Vincent’s to the Arbaney Barn. Thank you to City Market for helping with the cost of food, and Leroy Duroux and Brad Elliott for grilling the food.

We certainly appreciate the Roaring Fork Valley media for announcing and listing our events in their community calendars. We also want to thank Mason and Morse for their participation in our Flag Day fund-raiser and Alpine Liquor and Jimbo’s for donating beer for the event.

Thank you to everyone who attends our fund-raisers and our fireside chats and in general continues to support the BRHS and its mission to preserve the past while planning for the future.
