Thanks for sharing

Dear Editor:

The Gordon Cooper Library and the Mount Sopris Historical Society would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Clifford Duncan, Ute Elder, who spoke on April 17 to a record crowd of more than 140 delighted listeners about his family’s memories of their ancestral home in this area.

We are honored to have had the opportunity to listen to Duncan’s stories, songs and recollections. To all those who call this valley home, it was an extraordinary evening of education and sharing.
