Thanks for running for your life
Dear Editor:We would like to thank the walkers and runners who participated in the Run for your Life! race/walk/run for heart attack and stroke prevention awareness at River Valley Ranch on July 22. The event is sponsored by Glenwood Medical Associates and benefits Valley View Hospital’s Heart & Vascular Center, and the Glenwood Springers Youth Track Club.We are grateful to the volunteers who helped with the event, particularly Mike Kishimoto, Jessica Lorah and Kathy Feinsinger. The post-event raffle included over 30 gift certificates to Russets, 689, The Rock Creek Grill, The Steak Pit, Kaleidoscoops, Through the Looking Glass and May Palace, most of which were donated. Factory Surplus generously donated a raffle prize. Several individual donations and pharmaceutical companies also supported the effort.
