Thanks for caring and sharing

Dear Editor:On behalf of your local Salvation Army, I wish to express our sincere appreciation to all for the generous contributions or the giving of personal time in tending a kettle. Your efforts helped to raise $9,862 this season from the kettles at Clark’s and City Market in Aspen. A special commendation to all the volunteers who tended a kettle or rang a bell. Special thanks to the managers at Clark’s and City Market and to Alpine Bank, who took care of our collections. To all, both the known and unknown, who helped in some way large or small – your gift of caring and sharing will be returned to you many times over. God will not be outdone in generosity. May your gift of caring bring abundant blessings. May God continue to bless all of you and your families. Best wishes for a happy New Year. Jim Markalunas, for the Salvation ArmyAspen
