Thanks, Aspen |

Thanks, Aspen

On Saturday, Sept. 14, I was moved by the outpouring of selflessness and compassion shown by the people of Aspen. More than 50 residents joined others from throughout the Roaring Fork Valley to help their Glenwood Springs neighbors in a time of great need.

Led by the Aspen Community Foundation’s Spring Board, and our friends at Aspen Sports, you completed the arduous task of reseeding the fire-devastated hillsides near Mitchell Creek to safeguard homes from encroaching mudslides and debris flow.

Amidst the charred remains on home foundations, in a show of solidarity, community and commitment, you pulled on your boots and made a difference. Your kindness and participation touched us all. And most importantly, you gave many families an unexpected reason to smile.

To the people of Aspen, we at Timberland thank you.

We thank you for your hard work. We thank you for your support. And most of all, we thank you for letting us be a small part of your wonderful community.

President and CEO
