Thank you, Linda

Dear Editor:Talented, upbeat Linda Loeschen has been teaching fitness classes in Basalt through Colorado Mountain College since 1991. Some of her students have been taking her classes for nearly 20 years! We have such admiration for Linda, and we very much appreciate her dedication to sharing her fitness knowledge with the community. She is constantly changing up her routine, showcasing her dance background, sharing new steps and strengthening exercises she has created.A few years ago Linda became a certified physical trainer, bringing more specific understanding to our exercise programs. Our classes have also become a social venue, where we celebrate birthdays and give encouragement for those with health issues. Although a handful of us have exercised together for years, we are always so pleased and eager to welcome other fitness enthusiasts – no matter what level of ability – to our fun classes. We’re grateful to Linda and CMC for keeping these classes alive even when it has been hard to meet the enrollment requirements. If you are looking for a fun, upbeat morning workout this summer, please enroll in CMC’s “Cardio/Core,” which meets Monday and Wednesday, and “Total Fitness” on Friday’s class. Please see the CMC brochure for details or call 925-7740. All classes are held at the newly remodeled Basalt Health & Fitness, 82 Duroux Lane, Basalt.Becky Anslyn, Glenda, Marilyn, Sue, Marcia, Melanie, Glenda, Kara and others
