Teenager faces LSD charges

A teenager from Nevada was arrested Wednesday when he was reportedly found with 245 doses of suspected LSD during a traffic stop in Glenwood Springs.Nathaniel Dickens, 19, of Sparks, Nev., allegedly was in the process of bringing the drug – manufactured and packaged in Laramie, Wyo. – to Aspen for distribution. Dickens was arrested by the Two Rivers Drug Enforcement Team with the assistance of the Glenwood Springs Police Department.According to a news release from TRIDENT, Dickens was charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute the drug, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and multiple traffic infractions. The first two charges are felonies punishable by between two and 24 years in prison and a $3,000 to $750,000 fine.Dickens was booked into the Garfield County Jail.
