Boy dies after incident at Keystone ski area

KEYSTONE, Colo. ” A 13-year-old boy from Connecticut has died after an accident at the Keystone ski area.

Ski patrol members responded to the report of an incident on Diamondback, an advanced ski run, at about 10:15 a.m. Tuesday. The boy was taken to the Summit Medical Center in Frisco, where he was pronounced dead.

Keystone Ski Resort officials declined to describe the incident. They said the boy was wearing a helmet.

His hometown wasn’t available.

The Summit County coroner and sheriff’s office didn’t immediately return phone calls.
