Teague, Rappaport, Freedman win in Basalt

Aspen, CO Colorado

BASALT – Karin Teague, Glenn Rappaport and Anne Freedman were elected Tuesday to the Basalt Town Council.

Teague was the top vote-getter with 333 votes, followed by Rappaport with 263 votes and Freedman with 244.

Finishing out of the running were candidates Jim Paussa with 235 votes, Patrick Maley with 206 votes and Mary Holley with 100 votes.

There were 518 ballots cast in the election from the town’s 2,303 registered voters, for a 22.4 percent turnout.
