Talk books with Cussler

The Aspen Writers’ Foundation Winter Words series continues tonight with an event featuring writer Clive Cussler.

The bestselling action-adventure writer will appear at the Howling Wolf at 5:30 p.m.; tickets are $10.

Cussler is the author of more than 15 books of fiction, including “Raise the Titanic” and “Shock Wave,” centered around hero Dirk Pitt. Acclaimed as America’s grandmaster of adventure, Cussler has some 80 million books in print in 40 languages, and sold in 105 countries.



In addition to his writing, Cussler is a recognized authority on shipwrecks. He and his crew of marine experts have discovered over 60 historically significant underwater wreck sites, salvaging artifacts and donating them to museums across the country.
