Taken advantage of

Here’s something to think about. If School District RE-2 is asking for a large, unending “tax override” to hire more teachers, staff, increased services and wage increases, isn’t it a conflict of interest to let staff and teachers vote on the tax? Politicians set their own pay and lawyers write the laws.

Somebody at the bottom of this pile is being taken advantage of. When are you going to say enough is enough? When will the whole economy collapse under the weight of taxes, fees, licenses, permits and other government charges?

This old man predicts it won’t be long. The Democrats will blame the Republicans and vice versa, but remember, you voted for it.

We need to demand our “freefrom”. (Not a typo.) Vote no!
