Susan Marie Hill, 61, of New York City and Manhattan, Mont., passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 18, 2010.

She was born June 21, 1948, in Bozeman, Mont., to Richard Seely Hill and Virginia (Baker) Hill. Susan was raised in Bozeman and graduated from Bozeman Senior High School in 1966, then from Montana State University in 1970 with a degree in sociology.

After college graduation, Susan lived in Denver, Miami, Los Angeles, Aspen and San Francisco, finally settling in New York City, where she lived for more than 30 years.

Susan loved great food, dining in fine restaurants with friends, travel, tennis, skiing, hiking, reading, shopping and banana milkshakes. Susan had a special fondness for dogs, especially Muffin and Nicki.

She will be remembered for her outgoing personality, her sense of humor and her wonderful laugh. Susan was stunningly beautiful inside and out.
