Susan Beute-Nobel

Susan Lyn Beute-Nobel, a former Aspen resident, died Feb. 12 after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. She was 46 years old.

Beute-Nobel, who spent her final days in Grand Rapids, Mich., was well known for her energy, sense of humor and endless love. She was an inspiration to everyone whose lives she touched. She will be missed deeply by her family and friends.

She is survived by her parents, brothers, sisters and their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Feb. 16 in Grand Rapids; burial was in Fair Plains Cemetery in Michigan.

A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 27, at Aspen Community Church, 200 E. Bleeker St. For more information, call Debbie at 927-1330.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting people make memorial contributions to the Hospice of Greater Grand Rapids, Mich.
