Support for Fuller

Dear Editor:As an ex-employee of Hunter S. Thompson’s, I can testify that he did indeed promise Debra Fuller a portion of his estate, and to have anyone try to discourage her from any compensation is appalling, especially a newcomer. Debra Fuller dedicated over 20 years to Hunter and I can assure you it was no easy task. Hunter had many women in the three years of my employment, and none have tried to take a stake by signing their name to any artwork or literary works looking for their own recognition. From what I have heard, it was not all hugs and kisses, and when he decided to put himself out of his own personal misery, that is when the vultures stepped in.Debra, you have my full support.Maggie DorroughAspen
