Support Basalt soccer

Dear Editor:

The Basalt Soccer Club has been a vibrant organization for the past 15 years in the Basalt community. It has given many kids great opportunities to learn the sport of soccer and to compete at advanced levels through college. The strength of this organization relies upon passionate parent involvement.

At this time most of the parents involved have children in high school, and their days of volunteerism are limited. We need the help and efforts of, you, the parents of the upcoming, younger players to continue this exceptional legacy in Basalt.

We need help in the areas of referees, referee assignor, coaches, board members, field liners, uniform coordinator and first aid kits.

If you are interested or would like to get more information about any of these positions, please call or e-mail our current club president, Dario Del Piccolo at (970) 379-3257 or Keep in mind that the future of this organization is in your hands!
