Summertime |

1. Fiancés Michael Brown and Courtney Schorr celebrating their recent engagement.

As the summer season is ushered in, so are many reasons to celebrate. From wedding engagements to birthday parties to growing families to new restaurant debuts, Aspen is abuzz with happy news. Congratulations to Michael Brown and Courtney Schorr, who recently became betrothed in New York City, where he proposed in the Whispering Gallery of Grand Central and she delightedly accepted. Happy birthday to Charlotte McNellis, who celebrates turning 3 with a ballerina party today. Welcome to Hops Culture, Bill Guth’s new restaurant serving craft beer, wine and food on Hyman Avenue. And we look forward to meeting Travis and Jessie Hjorth’s baby boy, who arrives in July, and Jesse and Audrey Allen’s bundle, who is due just before Christmas.
