Summer Splash hits Willits on Wednesday
Willits Town Center plans to make a splash this summer, kicking off events Wednesday with the Willits Summer Splash.
The merchants and restaurants are teaming with the town and other sponsors to throw a party to celebrate the redesign of Triangle Park and the addition of a new stage and fountain. The fountain has already proved popular with kids.

The Splash will also feature a drawing with numerous prizes from Willits businesses. The prizes include a townie bicycle, a stay-cation at the New Element Hotel, cookware, massages, spa treatment and dinner at Willits restaurants.
Also this week, the Basalt Business Center will celebrate its diversity with a party on Thursday. There will be food, music and music by Blu Plate Special. The party will be held at 155 Southside Drive from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. More than a dozen businesses are hosting.
The event is a “benefit networking event” for Basalt Chamber members and guests of the host businesses.
