Sue Williamson

Sue Williamson, a resident of the Roaring Fork Valley for 40 years, died after a long illness on Aug. 19 at Aspen Valley Hospital.

Williamson had owned and operated a number of shops in Aspen, including a frame shop, a cheese shop, a travel business and an ice cream parlor called Sue’s Stew and Tilly’s Chili. She last worked for the Roaring Fork Transit Agency, driving the Mountain Valley bus.

She is survived by a brother and sister in Michigan and will be missed by her many friends.

In lieu of flowers, friends are asking people to make a contribution to Williamson’s memory by valuing the time they have with their children and family, and to realize how special that time is.
