Suck it up

Dear Editor:

I am writing in response to the diatribe of David Frank (“Enough is enough,” letters, Jan. 20 2011, The Aspen Times). I shop at City Market and realize that as of late the experience has become less than pleasurable. It resembles a bomb shelter, and you never quite know what you are going to be able to purchase.

Sometimes in life there are minor inconveniences. Mr. Frank, at the risk of sounding like a dopey hippie, I would like to remind you that you are one of the people lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, in a community filled with amazing people. I have faith that City Market, their management, owners and staff are doing everything they can to keep their customers happy.

This too shall pass.

Ann Durkin
