Such a success

Dear Editor:A big shout-out to all who made the New Orleans Musicians Clinic & Assistance Foundation’s first “Friendraiser” such a success! It was a night we all will remember. The JAZZ, the gumbo, the photography and the Woody Creek Community Center all blended together to create New Orleans magic in our valley. Even the downpour contributed to the New Orleans vibe.Thank you to the following amazing people: Jazz Aspen’s Jim Horowitz and Marc Breslin for the music of the Mario Abney Quintet; Steve Mundinger for the images of the musicians the NOMC&AF serves, WC3’s Chris and Martin for allowing us to turn the WC3 into a New Orleans club for a few hours, Bethany and Johann Bultman, founders NOMC, and all the Friends of Ed Bradley for their donations and making the great desserts, and lastly the surprise appearance of Naturally 7’s dedicating a song for Ed and Michael Jackson. We love celebrating Jazz Music, the New Orleans spirit and all that wonderful about our Aspen community! With heartfelt appreciation,Beth Gill and Bridget Balentine and the Friends of Ed
