Students denied learning experience

Dear Editor:

When I took an EMT class at CMC in 1986, we were taught how to deal with grand mal seizures. How, in 2011, is an EMT class not appropriate for Channing Seideman, who suffers from epilepsy and had a seizure in class? Sounds like it could be a learning experience, especially since Channing is willing to explain her situation and answer questions from her classmates.
