Strange bedfellows
Dear Editor:
So the owners of Gould Construction reveal themselves as Romney supporters by having their workers show up at the Thursday rally in Basalt. This is the same Romney who wants to cut federal taxes and end government spending on projects like the Roaring Fork Transportation Authority’s. The same project that Gould Construction is working on.
Ah, hypocrisy.

Aspen School District has finally cleared the hurdles to complete its 2021 financial audit and has submitted it to the state, more than five and a half months after the original deadline and three and a half months after the extended deadline.
