Stop the confusion

Dear Editor:

This is about the stop sign at Aspen and Durant. As most of us know, it changes twice a year: In the winter drivers on Durant must stop. In summer, however, the stop sign halts drivers on Aspen Street. Are we shooting for a Guinness world record for silliness? Or a Driver Confusion Award? Let’s make up our minds, Aspen City Council! As it is, a schizophrenic stop sign is an arguable safety hazard.
